Styles I Love...

...but probably will never be able to pull off.

But that's okay! I can still love them, right? :)

1.) Colored jeans
I do have a few pairs, but I've never been able to wear them quite right.
I'm learning though (as in I wore my blue pants all day today).

2.) Oxfords
They are super cute, and some people wear them really well, but I don't think I've even see a place that sells them around here.

3.) Doc Martens
Cute (and expensive (!!) )

4.) Boots with a dress/tights
I actually attempted this look, but it didn't turn out the way I wanted. It looked good in my head though!

5.) This whole collar-sweater look.
Adorable, but I feel like its a little too sophisticated or whatever for me to pull off.

(This last one could also go in the colored jeans too I guess... It's so cute!)

Lately I have been trying to wear styles and pieces of clothing that I wouldn't usually.

For example, I really like chunky jewelry (mostly earrings), but I haven't really even worn earrings in a while. So over the long weekend last week, my family and I went to the Spectrum. While my brothers went to the Apple store, my mom and I went into Forever 21 and raided their jewelry section. We got some really cute pairs of big earrings. My favorite are probably the pair that my mom calls the 'disco balls' because they're big, round, and studded with diamonds :) They can go with almost anything too!

Disneyland

aka The Happiest Place on Earth!

I got to go last Saturday (after a long, stressful week nonetheless) and I had a blast!

I went with four of my friends and I brought along my new camera!

Here's some of the pictures:

The center of Disneyland

The sunset/ the ferris wheel/ bubbles/ the reality of Disneyland crowds...
and I love it!

(I know its blurry but) I like this bubble photo.

The highlight probably took place in ToonTown (ironically my mom's least favorite place EVER). So we all walked through Chip & Dale's treehouse and found this rock/boulder behind it. So, we did the logical thing and jumped up and sat on it and took pictures!

Most of them are of 'funny' (hideously hilarious) faces, so I won't post them for the sake of our pride, but it was super fun. We all laughed really hard, and a couple of us almost fell off the boulder... :) My camera took most of the funny photos, and my friends kept complimenting it on its quality. Yay!

Here is a more candid-y one that I got permission to post. I like it :)

One of My Favorites:

Books!

I love reading. A lot.

Sometimes I get into a book rut where I just have no good books to read. That happened recently, so I had this idea that I could reread all seven Harry Potter books before the end of March. But of course, right when I start, we start a book in English class (To Kill a Mockingbird), and we also started a book club in English with a long list of book, some of which I really wanna read (i.e. The Dante Club, The Secret Life of Bees, The Myth of You & Me, The Boy in the Striped Pajamas, etc.). At the same time, my mom started a book for her book club (The Fault in Our Stars), and recommended it and I've heard some really good reviews about it.

So basically I have a problem, but its not exactly an awful one.

Here's a list of some of my favorite books/authors:

Hunger Games, The Goose Girl, The Penderwick Series, The Book Thief, Percy Jackson Series, THe Secret Series, The Harry Potter Series, The Mysterious Benedict Society, etc

Shannon Hale, Rick Riordan, etc

Wouldn't this be an amazing place to live? (I found it on Pinterest and I love it!)
